Child Safety Standards
Last updated: August 20, 2026
HIY does not tolerate any content that sexually exploits or abuses children (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, CSAE) — no exceptions, regardless of audience, visibility, or encryption.
Reporting
Every post in HIY can be reported directly in the app. Reports feed into our reporting system (weighted reports, strikes for repeat violations). When there is reasonable suspicion of CSAE content, we act immediately, independent of the usual reporting threshold — a single report is enough.
Removal
Confirmed violations are removed centrally through our relay infrastructure; affected devices receive the deletion automatically once they're back online. The associated account is banned.
Reporting to Authorities
When we confirm suspected CSAM, we additionally report it — beyond removing the content — via the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org), which accepts reports worldwide and forwards them to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
